How GateScoop Works

Think of it as Waze inside the airport — travelers helping travelers with real-time updates on lines, waits, gates, and amenities.

  1. 1

    Add your airports

Home starts with your airports: search any airport by code, city, or name and add it. Everything else follows the airport you pick.

  2. 2

    Park before you fly

Parking Pulse shows which garage to park at, how full it is, and how long the walk or shuttle to the terminal takes, with directions in Google Maps.

  3. 3

    Walk me to my gate

Step-by-step directions from where you are to your gate: the signs to follow, the train or shuttle you have to catch, and how long it takes.

  4. 4

    Find what's near you

Near Me ranks the closest restrooms, charging outlets, food, and quiet areas by walk time from where you're standing.

  5. 5

    Check what's official

Advisories, FAA disruption notices, transit and accessibility updates straight from the airport and FAA, shown next to what travelers are reporting.

  6. 6

    Share a Quick Report

Post what you see — security lines, restaurant waits, crowded gates, charging spots, bag belts. Reports expire after 8 hours unless reconfirmed.

  7. 7

    Confirm or correct reports

Tap Confirm on a report you agree with, or No longer accurate if it's stale. Confirmations boost a report's reliability score.

  8. 8

    Ask the Airport

Have a question about a gate, amenity, or connection? Post it and get answers from fellow travelers.

  9. 9

    Check your connection

Use Connection Helper to estimate your transfer time and see whether your layover is safe.

  10. 10

    Earn reputation & get alerts

Every report and helpful answer earns points and badges. Turn on notifications to hear about disruptions, answers, and saved-report updates.
